There are design toolkits available for both the main One UL Design System and for the ULTRUS brand design system.

The main One UL Design System is available in both Figma and XD. However, only the Figma version is now being actively maintained. The XD version is there for reference, and to support those team who are still using XD. However, we would encourage switching to Figma to get the latest version of the main design system.

The ULTRUS theme is only available in Figma. There is no plan to release this for XD.

You can add the Design System Figma files for all files you create or just an individual file.

To make the design system available in all your files you need to add the library in your settings. This walkthrough will show you how! Note that the libraries might be in "Your teams" or "Other teams" depending on which teams you're a member of. If you have any trouble finding these then please email the design system team and we'll help.

Either way components will then be available through the "Components" tool in Figma

The Adobe XD spec file is a cloud document to which you can request access. Here's how you can do it:

1. Email the design system team to request access;
2. Save a copy of the file as a cloud document. Do not save locally, do not make changes to the original file. Alternatively, you can import the components from the spec file into any other working cloud document;
3. Automatically receive updates when changes are made to the source file.
